Thank you for your interest in learning more about animal behavior and about our training classes. Under the tabs above, you’ll learn about educational programs we offer for your workplace, your service club or your residential community. You will also find opportunities to gain in-depth knowledge of animal behavior. Classes are geared towards shelter workers, volunteers, veterinary clinic employees, as well as anyone who wants a deeper understanding of the pets that share our lives.
The Dumb Friends League Animal Behavior department is staffed by experienced counselors who offer assistance with dogs, cats, rabbits and other small mammals. The department has been in existence since 1991 and has served as a model for the national Pets for Life program, a training curriculum for shelter professionals offered through The Humane Society of the United States. |
